Many small pieces, each finished on its own terms, that only make a picture when you step back. 54 properties, 5 divisions, 13 countries — and not one of them designed to look like the others.
Mosaic Media owns and operates newspapers, magazines, online titles, a television and streaming directory and the publishing platform underneath them. The newsrooms are local: a Belgian daily is written in Flanders, a Romanian sports title in Romanian, a Ukrainian weekly by people who live there.
What the group centralises is the machinery — publishing, images, translation, distribution, analytics and the advertising desk. What it refuses to centralise is the front page. 356 sections across the register are defined title by title, not from a template.
The group publishes 30,583 articles and counting, in 11 languages, and keeps a television directory of 14,999 channels in 178 countries. Every number on this site is read from those systems when the page is built — which is also why some of them will have changed by the time you read this.
